Long-time Demon part of the new-look Essendon – The Age
Josh Mahoney, who recently departed Melbourne, has been hired by Bombers CEO Xavier Campbell after the Dons parted ways with Daniel Richardson last month.

He will not be involved in Melbourne’s decision making during the AFL draft on Wednesday night.
Essendon chief executive Campbell, after parting ways with Richardson, said the Bombers were looking for “experience.”
Former GWS football boss Wayne Campbell was sounded out about the role, as was former Adelaide and Carlton CEO Steven Trigg. Neither were offered the job.
