Virgin Australia flights are facing delays after the airline’s check-in system crashed.
Virgin Australia and Rex Airlines passengers across the country were facing delays on Friday evening after the airlines check-in and boarding system crashed.
Many flights due to depart airports since 4.30pm were affected by the system outage.
Long queues formed at Sydney Airport as travellers arrived at the Virgin terminal, with the airlines moving to manually check-in passengers.
Just after 8pm, Virgin confirmed the global system outage had been resolved.
