Logan Motorway traffic at a standstill after Queensland Police shoot man
A man believed to be armed has been shot by Queensland police on a freeway, causing morning traffic chaos.
The incident unfolded on the Logan Motorway near Drewvale, south of Brisbane, about 6am on Thursday.
Queensland Police said they were responding to reports of a “traffic hazard”.
They are understood to have been met by the man walking on the road with a weapon.
He was subsequently shot. His condition is unknown.
