Logan Motorway knifeman Raghe Abdi shot by police linked to Parkinson double murder, ISIS

Queensland Police are investigating if there is a link between a radicalised ISIS supporter shot dead on a Brisbane motorway and the double homicide of an elderly couple.

Raghe Abdi, 22, was fatally shot by police on the Logan Motorway on Thursday morning after approaching them with a knife in hand.

Police were initially called to a “traffic hazard” about 6am.

Hours earlier, the bodies of an 87-year-old man and an 86-year-old woman were found in a Parkinson home.
