Logan bus driver had ‘chemical irritant’ thrown in face, Queensland police say

A bus driver has been taken to hospital after having a chemical thrown in his face at Loganholme, south of Brisbane, this morning.
Police said the attack happened about 9:30am on Drews Road.
Initial inquiries indicate the substance was thrown through the driver’s window.
There were no passengers on board the bus at the time and police do not know who was responsible for the attack.
The Queensland Ambulance Service said the male driver was exposed to a “chemical irritant around his face”.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital on Brisbane’s southside in a stable condition.
