‘We’ve got enough COVID and influenza vaccines, but we’re not fully booked.’

A Mackay GP says there has been a low take up of the COVID-19 vaccine among the local population, prompting a call for more people to roll up their sleeve and get the jab.
Sydney St Medical GP Dr Shuren Taylor said the very rare risk of blood clots linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine had caused some apprehension in the community.
We have more supply for the COVID vaccine, but actually its a low take (up) of people having the COVID vaccine, Dr Taylor said.
