LNP yet to release costings as Queensland voters cast first ballots at early voting centres
The Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ) says a record 100,000-plus Queenslanders have lodged their ballots at early voting centres on Monday.

- Early polling booths opened this morning at 200 locations
- Voters have also been mailed postal ballots
- The LNP says it won’t release its costings until closer to election day despite 70 per cent of people opting to vote before
Two hundred polling booths opened for early voters and postal ballots were also mailed out.
The attendance trumped the 70,000 people who made use of the first day of early voting for the local government elections in March.
The ECQ said an historic 70 per cent of people were opting to vote before election day on October 31 because of coronavirus concerns.
