LNG crown teeters as NT gas in peril – The Australian Financial Review
Australia’s reign as the world’s largest exporter of LNG may already have come to an end as fresh challenges emerge on the domestic gas front.

On the domestic gas front, hopes of tapping gas in the NT to help underpin a recovery in the domestic economy from the COVID-19 crisis are in peril from the anti-fracking stance of the Terry Mills-led Territory Alliance party heading into the election on August 22.
The Beetaloo Basin is our best hope but it is at risk when fracking has become an election issue in the Northern Territory.
