Living near green spaces “combined with higher chances of quitting smoking”

People who smoke are more likely to give up the habit successfully if they live near green spaces. Scientists have also found that those who live in green areas are less likely to smoke.
The study, published in the journal Social Science & Medicine, is based on data from the Health Survey for England (HSE) of more than 8,000 adults.
