Andre Heimgartner has kicked off the return to The Bend Motorsport Park with Race 9 pole at the OTR SuperSprint.
Shane van Gisbergen, who will start seventh, entered the weekend with a 139-point championship lead over Red Bull Ampol Racing teammate Jamie Whincup, with Walkinshaw Andretti United’s Chaz Mostert a further 26 points adrift.
The 26-car grid will roll out for the 24-lap Race 9 at 4:35pm AEST. Check out the full weekend schedule here.
