Lions coach confronts AFL over star midfielder’s treatment
Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan says he has spoken with the AFL, urging them to give Lachie Neale a fair run at the ball after the Brownlow Medallist was well held by Geelong on Friday night.
Neale finished with 16 touches in last weeks one-point loss to Geelong, but had just three at half-time as defender Mark OConnor blanketed the Lions star for much of the match.
