Champion hooker Jake Friend has revealed he’s on the cusp of finalising a new deal with the Roosters while centre Josh Morris is also close to officially re-signing.

Roosters stalwart Jake Friend is on the cusp of finalising a new deal while another veteran, centre Josh Morris, is also close to officially re-signing.
Friend, who turns 31 in February, is keen to remain a one-club player having made his NRL debut for the Tricolours in 2008.
The three-time premiership winner is the club’s fourth-most capped player with 261 games.
