‘Extreme’ move goes ‘far beyond the race track’

Six-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton says he’s entering a team in the Extreme E competition, a new electric off-road racing series that aims to shed light on environmental issues.
Hamilton’s X44 team — named after his car number at Mercedes, will be his first foray into motorsport team ownership but he will not drive or be involved in the day-to-day operations.
