Western Bulldogs legend Bob Murphy believes it is time for Gold Coast Suns young star Matt Rowell to take a break and watch from the stands in the back-half of the season.
The 2019 No.1 pick dominated during his first five AFL games, before a season ending shoulder injury brought the midfielder back to earth.
However, since the injury, the Suns have utilised Rowell on the interchange bench where he is continuing his AFL development through Stuart Dew on the bench.
