League of Legends Worlds 2020 dates revealed for each stage during Tencent Esports Conference – Dot Esports
Only one more month to go.
The dates for the 2020 League of Legends World Championship were recently revealed during Tencent’s annual Esports Conference.
Worlds will start on Sept. 25 and the winner will be crowned on Oct. 31 in the Pudong Soccer Stadium. All matches will be played in Shanghai as a safety measure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The five stages will happen on these dates:
- Play-in stage: Sept. 25 to 30
- Group stage: Oct. 3 to 6, Oct. 8 to 11
- Quarterfinals: Oct. 15 to 18
