The mobile and console spinoff is also getting an esports scene
Fans in North America will be able to play League of Legends on their phones very soon. Today, at a big event detailing what 2021 will look like for League, developer Riot revealed that Wild Riftthe mobile and console version of the game will launch in open beta in the Americas starting in March. Its not clear what platforms the beta will be available on, but previous open betas were primarily on Android and iOS.
