League Immortal Johns makes an appearance at Wallabies training – Sydney Morning Herald
Rugby league legend Andrew Johns made a surprise appearance at Wallabies training on Thursday.
The Wallabies say Johns was invited down for a session by attack coach Scott Wisemantel, who before working predominantly in rugby used to play first grade for the Parramatta Eels between 1988 and 1992.
Wisemantel has extremely close ties with former Wallabies coach and current England boss Eddie Jones, who tried to poach Johns to rugby when he was in charge in Australia.
