Lawyers join med sector calls for vaccine compensation scheme – Brisbane Times
Australia is among about 25 countries, including the US and New Zealand, who have a scheme to pay compensation to people who suffer adverse vaccine reactions.

A major law firm has added its voice to calls for a safety net to be set up to protect people who developed serious side-effects from vaccinations.
At least 25 other countries, including New Zealand, the US, and countries in Britain, have versions of a federal no-fault vaccine injury compensation scheme, which sets aside money to be paid if someone suffers serious complications from a vaccination.
