Lawyers in line for generous pay rises – The Australian Financial Review
After pausing salary increases in 2020, law, accounting, property and consultancy firms are bringing forward mid-year salary reviews.

Last year, salary reviews were quite limited as the outlook was so uncertain, Ms Jones said.
According to Hays, lawyers are the most likely to receive a jump in pay, with 31 per cent of employers in the legal sector planning to award salary increases of 3 per cent or more in their next review.
Gatehouse Legal Recruitment CEO Louise Hvala said the salary increases were being driven by a talent shortage and also demand for the same skills.
It is definitely a candidates market in legal. Great candidates…
