Rival stars training together is just one of the many unusual sights of a strange year
HE’S PLAYED in finals, premierships, even had a stint as Richmond skipper, but Tigers jet Shane Edwards says his latest training session in quarantine is something he’ll remember forever.
In a Friday skills session in the AFL’s ‘Transition Hub’, Edwards trained with St Kilda’s triple All-Australian Dan Hannebery and dual Brownlow medallist Gary Ablett in what is just another bizarre scene that has become all too familiar in the COVID ravaged 2020.
