Latest Covid cases for Cumbria highlight concern for one district in particular – Lancs Live
Public Health England figures show there have now been 24,918 confirmed cases across Carlisle, Barrow, Allerdale, South lakeland, Eden and Copeland

Another 141 people have tested positive for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours across Cumbria.
The number continues the positive trend across most areas of the county in recent weeks, with the daily total lower than the 170 last Monday (January 25) and 304 on January 18.
Case numbers in Carlisle – which currently has the county’s highest infection rate – have dropped significantly from the 200-plus early last month to 31 today.
