Last week, Rear Admiral Mark Hill, CSC, RAN, Commander Maritime Border Command participated in a video conference with Admiral Zubil, Director General of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency – Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia Topics of discussion included the impact of COVID-19 on maritime operations, the importance of border security and exciting developments relating to our bilateral cooperation through Operation REDBACK. Building on the elevation of the Australia-Malaysia relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (as announced by our Prime Ministers last month), RADM Hill and Admiral Zubil reaffirmed our commitment to collaborating and strengthening cooperation on civil maritime security. ???????? ????????
