Last week, Maritime Border Command, a multi-agency command within the ABF, conducted air and sea patrols through northern parts of the Great Barrier Reef.

Protecting our unique marine life is critically important. The patrol’s purpose was to detect and deter illegal hunting of dugong, turtle and crayfish. The Australian Defence Vessel Cape Inscription was involved, together with ABF aerial support.
