Last Saturday, officers from our WA Regional Command took part in the Karratha Emergency Services Open Day. The Open Day showcased the region’s emergency service organisations and acknowledged the important
work of volunteers in the delivery of these services. Highlights on the day included rescue simulations and abseiling demonstrations by the Karratha State Emergency Service, first aid and CPR demonstrations by St John WA, and detector dog and taser demonstrations by Western Australia Police Force. Other agencies that took part in the successful Open Day were Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA, Volunteer Marine Rescue Western Australia and EPIC Karratha
