Large fire engulfs building in Hemmant

Paramedics and emergency services are at the scene of a raging fire on Gosport Street in Hemmant this afternoon.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said multiple crews were on the scene at a commercial structure fire burning on Gosport Street.
“Firefighters are working to contain the blaze and smoke is affecting the area,” QFES said in a statement.
The building is understood to be a cardboard and paper warehouse.
Fire crews are using cranes to fight the flames but the building is well alight.
