Landmark day in Covid fight as first vaccinations to be given in Scotland – Daily Record
Frontline health workers spoke to the Record about being the first people in Scotland to receive a long-awaited Covid vaccine.

The first Scots will receive Covid-19 vaccinations today in a landmark moment in the country’s nine-month long battle against the deadly virus.
Frontline health workers will be given jabs at 23 sites across Scotland under the initial phase of a national programme which will eventually see millions of people protected against coronavirus.
Among those who will be first in line for the vaccine is Andrew Mencnarowski, a senior staff nurse at the Western General in Edinburgh.
