The Land Rover Defender has been updated for the 2021 model year and in Europe, is now offered with an all-new plug-in hybrid powertrain.
This new variant is dubbed the Defender P400e and combines a powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver a combined 398 hp. This allows the P400e to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in a respectable 5.4 seconds as well as a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h).
