Charlotte Hornets rookie LaMelo Ball has secured the No. 1 spot on a star-studded list of the NBA’s highest-selling jerseys in Australia, the league announced on Wednesday.
Ball, who played a season with the NBL’s Illawarra Hawks before entering the NBA Draft and had emerged as a celebrity before playing his first professional game of basketball, beat out the likes of Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant to become the first rookie to ever be atop the list in Australia.
