Lamborghini teases first hybrid roadster ahead of reveal – Drive
Lamborghini has given us a sneak peek of what could be a Sian roadster ahead of its reveal tonight.

Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has released a teaser photo of what Drive believes will be the new Sian roadster.
The Lamborghini Sian is the Italian supercar company’s first hybrid model, and its most powerful.
Putting out 577kW from a 6.5-litre V12 and 48 volt mild-hybrid system, the Sian is unique in that it uses a supercapacitor rather than conventional battery, powering an electric motor fitted to the hypercar’s transmission.
Supercapacitors can store more electric power than traditional batteries, and are able to unleash that energy at a faster rate. The technology was developed in conjunction with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Lamborghini’s global event is expected to show a roadster variant of the Sian, and would make it the first hybrid roadster and well as the most powerful open-top model ever produced by the brand.
