Kununurra cane toad muster uses sausages to combat pests’ wet-season advance across the Kimberley

A big wet season in the Kimberley has buoyed cane toads with authorities fearing the heavy rain has helped speed up the invasive species’ march west across the bio-diverse region.

- Cane toads have invaded more than half of the Kimberley region and are expected to reach Broome in the next few years
