Kristen Stewart wears Princess Diana’s sapphire engagement ring in new still from Spencer

When news first broke that Kristen Stewart was set to depict a young Princess Diana in an upcoming biopic Spencer, many fans had hesitations around whether the Twilight actress could pull it off. But with more details about the film being released, including striking images of the actress as Diana herself, it seems as though many doubts have been quashed, and instead transformed into eager anticipation.
Now, another official still of Stewart has been released, showing the 30-year-old wearing the royal’s famous sapphire engagement ring, as well as a red and green plaid blazer over a white turtleneck. The outfit seems to be inspired by a similar suit set that Diana wore during a visit to Portsmouth in January, 1989.
