Kogarah slammed after NRL player injured crashing into fence: ‘This has to change’ – Fox Sports
Kogarah Oval has come under fire after Canberra player Harley Smith-Shields had a nasty run-in with the fence during Saturday’s game against Cronulla.
Smith-Shields was chasing through a Raiders grubber and attempted to bat it back into play when he slid into the Kogarah fence and injured his left hand.
The young player failed to get the ball back in play and picked up a nasty looking injury for his troubles.
He winced as trainers tried to wrap up his thumb.
Round 20
