Knights lock in 103kg wrecking ball Bradman Best as focus switches to Mitchell Pearce – Fox Sports
The Newcastle Knights have landed a major signing coup leading into the new season by extending the contract of young gun Bradman Best until the end of 2024.
Regarded as one of the most damaging emerging centres in the NRL, Best scored eight tries in 11 NRL matches last year after putting his name on the radar playing NSW under 16s and under 18s.
Best, 19, played junior football for the Woy Woy Roosters and was part of the Knights side beaten 30-10 in last Saturdays trial match in Albury by the premiers Melbourne Storm.
