The COVID-positive customer shopped there on a Saturday afternoon.
A Kmart store in a popular shopping centre in Melbournes north has listed itself as an exposure site after a person with COVID-19 shopped there.
The store in Barkly Square in Brunswick said the customer attended between 1.15pm and 2.30pm on Saturday May 22.
Anyone who visited during that time must get a COVID-19 test and isolate for further advice.
A sign displayed at the Kmart store on Wednesday said it would be closed for a deep clean.
