Shoppers have been told they must get tested and isolate immediately after a major shopping centre in the city’s south-east was exposed.
A major shopping centre in Melbournes south-east has been added to the list of locations visited by a new coronavirus case.
The alert was issued after authorities on Wednesday night revealed three new cases of community transmission in Victoria, breaking a 61-day streak.
The cases, two women in their 40s and a woman in her 70s, are from three different suburbs: Mentone, Mitcham and Hallam.
Authorities are investigating if there is a link to the COVID outbreak in New South Wales.
