The popular $1.50 kitchen items are being snapped up by sewing enthusiasts, with one claiming theyre perfect for the job.
The shoppers have started making masks in response to the spike in cases of coronavirus in Australia.
From Thursday, it will mandatory for all Melburnians to wear masks when leaving home.
Residents in NSW have also been urged to wear masks in public or on public transport.
