The parent company of Lion, which owns and distributes some of Australia’s most iconic beers, has cut ties with the Myanmar military after it staged a coup this week.
- Lion boasts brands including Tooheys, XXXX and Little Creatures
- The Australian company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kirin Holdings
- Kirin was urged to cut ties following allegations the military committed genocide against the Rohingya Muslim minority
