KINGSTON — The detection of 14 local cases of COVID-19 since Sept. 9 — including four on Friday alone — has prompted public health officials to change the community status level from green to yellow.
The change illustrates a more serious level of spread of the virus, but Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox and Addington medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore said there is no evidence of community spread.
