Killer whales are stripping the catch from fishing lines in the Southern Ocean.

Once an occasional nuisance, the largest member of the dolphin family is now consistently finding, following, and feasting on fish brought in by long-line fishing vessels.
Fisher and restaurateur Will Mure, who has been casting lines in the Southern Ocean since the 1970s, said the whales now associated his boat with a free meal and were common companions on fishing trips.
