Kick in the guts for Maguire as patched-up Warriors outfight Tigers – Sydney Morning Herald
Michael Maguire launched his size 11s into a plastic chair during the interval, and would have targeted more furniture at full-time as his Wests Tigers lost 26-20.

Maguire made it known after a shock loss to the Gold Coast Titans in round four he was sick of the Tigers accepting mediocrity and demanded the players raised standards.
He was tired of the club’s habit of losing the games they were meant to win, even to the point he was aware it had become a running gag with fans.
