Kelly Wilkinson’s ex-partner charged with her murder

The man accused of killing 27-year-old Gold Coast mother-of-three Kelly Wilkinson has been remanded in custody, with the case against him adjourned to June.
Police charged Brian Earl Johnston, 34, with murder, contravention of a domestic violence order and breach of bail conditions on Tuesday night, after a homicide investigation was launched following the discovery of Ms Wilkinson’s body at an Arundel home.
Kelly Wilkinson’s ex-partner has been charged with her murder.
Her burnt body was found about 6.40am in the backyard of a Spikes Court home following a neighbour’s report of a disturbance.
Three children under the age of nine were believed to be at the house at the time.
