‘He was going after the jersey’: 2,505-day exile answers Broncos SOS in triumphant return

Plenty of heads turned when the Broncos called up Albert Kelly to replace Anthony Milford this week, but the veteran proved his coach right in his sides shock 34-16 win over the Roosters.
Kelly finished with 43 run metres, four tackle busts, an offload, a linebreak and a try assist in an eye-catching Broncos debut.
Kelly was playing in his first NRL game in 2,505 days, with the last of his 47 matches coming back in 2014 for the Titans.
