Outdoor equipment company Kathmandu has reported an $8.9 million profit after tax for the year to July 31, down from $57.6m last year.

Outdoor equipment retailer Kathmandu has reported an $8.9 million profit after tax for the year to July 31, down from $57.6m last year.
The results also reflected one-off costs relating to its purchase of Rip Curl in February.
The company said sales had been hard hit by the closures of stores during the Covid-19 lockdowns in Australia and New Zealand.
Sales were down an $135m across Kathmandus retail and wholesale business.
