Kangaroo joey stuffed into Australia Post letterbox at Woongoolba, on the Gold Coast

A tiny kangaroo joey has been rescued after it was stuffed into an Australia Post letterbox on the Gold Coast.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) officers were called to the post box at Woongoolba just after 6.40am on Friday after reports an animal was inside.
When they arrived, they discovered the joey trapped inside.
QFES says Australia Post was soon on the scene with the post box keys and the baby was out in no time.
