Kangaroo Island fires report finds ‘significant deficiency’ in CFS resources

Resource deficiencies, communication breakdowns and insubordination within the Country Fire Service (CFS) hampered fire response efforts during last year’s deadly emergency on Kangaroo Island, a review has found.
