Chris Waller has declared Jamie Kah the front runner to ride enigmatic sprinter Nature Strip in the Group 1 $750,000 Black Caviar Lightning Stakes at Flemington on February 13.
Kah will replace regular rider James McDonald after the champion Sydney jockey elected to stay in the Harbour City to avoid quarantine hiccups.
Waller on Friday announced stable stars Nature Strip, September Run and Imaging had arrived at Flemington to prepare for upcoming Group 1 assignments.
