Kade Simpson makes a quiet exit after 18 years – The Age
Carlton veteran Kade Simpson will retire at the end of the season, having played more than 340 games for the Blues.

The former vice-captain sits behind only Bruce Doull and Craig Bradley in the games-played standings for Carlton.
“I never believed when I was drafted that Id still be playing 18 years later,” Simpson told Carlton’s website.
“Its something that hopefully down the track Ill look back on and appreciate but right now I just want to thank everyone who has helped me, on and off the field, during my career.
