Merivale will receive the keys to Nortons next month.
Property records show the freehold last changed hands for $11.4 million in 2016.

Selling agents Mr Musca and Mr McDonald said Nortons had been hotly contested by some of Sydneys most prominent hoteliers and hospitality groups.
