Jumper clash controversy is not unusual in Australian Rules football.
Two finals between Collingwood and Geelong in the AFL have had such problems, with the Cats wearing dark blue shorts and predominantly white jumpers, against Collingwoods white shorts and predominantly black jumpers.
In 2009 Collingwood wore their home jerseys as the away team against North Melbourne, who wore their clash strip despite hosting the game. That clash strip consisted of light blue stripes instead of a darker blue.
