Judge vows to hear cartel case ‘before we all retire’ – The Australian Financial Review
A Federal Court judge has slammed several leading investment banks, the Crown and the competition watchdog for “intolerable” delays in a landmark criminal cartel…

“These charges have been hanging over the heads of these individuals but also major corporations, they have to be brought to a head,” he said, adding that it needed to be heard “before we all retire” and at least before 2025.
The case has already stalled the retirement of one local court judge, Magistrate Jennifer Giles, who also heavily criticised all the parties involved for wasting taxpayer dollars with their legal infighting.
